Kazuhiko Nishihara
Kazuhiko Nishihara is a lawyer admitted in Japan and New York State.  His practice includes litigation, ADR, international transaction, employment law, corporate, M&A, and domestic and international inheritance law. He is a founder and managing partner of Honmachi International Law Office, P.C.  
He is an accredited mediator of the Center for Effective Dispute Resolution (CEDR), a listed mediator of the Mediation Center Osaka, and a specialist mediator of the Singapore International Mediation Center (SIMC).  He is Secretary General of Japan International Mediation Center in Kyoto (JIMC-Kyoto), the first international mediation center in Japan.
He is active in many organizations and his position includes Vice Chair of the International Committee and the Attorney Ethics Committee of the Osaka Bar Association, Deputy Secretary General of Japan Association of Arbitrators (JAA), and Secretary of the Kinki Branch of Japan CSR Association, and a member of Hawaii Tax Institute Advisory Committee. 
He graduated from Kyoto University, Faculty of Law (JD) and Graduate School of Law (LLM), and Northwestern University Pritzker School of Law (LLM).  He served as a member of the Student Secretariat of the Alumni Association of Kyoto University, Faculty of Law.

Jeffery J. Daar, Principal
Jeffery J. Daar Jeffery Daar is a principal of the law firm Daar & Newman. He has more than 25 years of extensive experience in cross-border disputes including both in courts and arbitration, often collaborating with lawyers all over the world on every continent. His diverse expertise includes international arbitration and cross-border litigation and transactions, complex state and federal litigation, recognition and enforcement of foreign money judgments and arbitral awards, class actions, employment, trade secrets and technology disputes, insurance including insurance insolvency, appellate work, private post-secondary schools and colleges, and intellectual property. Jeffery currently serves as an arbitrator in domestic and international arbitration matters, including for the International Centre for Dispute Resolution (ICDR), Japan Commercial Arbitration Association (JCAA), Vancouver International Arbitration Centre (VanIAC), Shenzhen Court of International Arbitration (SCIA), South China International Arbitration Center (HK) (SCIAHK), and the American Arbitration Association (AAA). Jeffery is an internationally recognized speaker and writer on international law issues. For example, he is the Executive Editor of the 560 page handbook International Intellectual Property Law Basics, and Associate Editor of the handbook International Corporate Structures. Jeffery also holds and has held various leadership positions in other nonprofit organizations and political organizations. He received his JD from the University of California, Davis and his BA from Claremont McKenna College.
