Standard landlord commercial lease forms include a relocation clause which allows landlord the right to relocate the tenant within a building/project. Tenant’s initial reaction is to delete this right but if not successful, tenant can make a number of revisions to the relocation clause to make it more tenant-friendly.
This webinar will provide an overview of landlord and tenant negotiation strategies as well as taking into account the differences in specific contexts (e.g., office, retail).
The webinar will then review the provisions of an amendment dealing with an actual relocation of the tenant.
