During an informative, hour-long MCLE program, Mediator Stacie Feldman Hausner, Esq. shares information regarding the psychology behind negotiating decisions that can impact settlement.Stacie draws her information from her mediation experiences, her teaching curriculum at the Straus Institute for Dispute Resolution at Pepperdine Law School, and her independent research.She will discuss the most prominent cognitive biases that impact settlement negotiations. She also will offer negotiating tactics to marginalize the impact of the biases and avoid impasse.Finally, she will share influence techniques that can optimize settlement outcomes.
