Cashflow, Clients, and Credit: Managing Law Firm Finances in Changing Times
Businesses, including law firms, are approaching end-of-year finances during a period of ongoing extraordinary circumstances. Firms are increasingly looking to litigation finance to provide a measure of financial stability, predictability, and risk-sharing, as well as to power growth, during uncertain times. Litigation finance differs from traditional line-of-credit and other debt facilities in important ways. This program provides lawyers and law firms with an overview of how litigation finance works, how it’s different from traditional recourse financing, and the law surrounding the potential ethical issues involved in using litigation finance.
