One of the critical intersections between trial and appellate court practice occurs when litigants who want to appeal need to stay enforcement of the judgment or order being appealed. This seminar provides an overview of the law governing stays pending appeal, including appeal bonds and deposits in lieu of bonds, and provides trial and appellate counsel with the tools needed to protect the interests of a client pursuing appellate relief.
