The copyright status of art generatedby artificial intelligence is an area of law that has seen rapid development in the past three years. This articlefirst will focus on three landmark cases that may set precedent regarding how the copyright of art or information created by AI is treated. As of the writing of this article in March 2023, the cases are in the early phases of litigation.
