    Tracy Duell-Cazes, a Certified Family Law Specialist and frequent lecturer, will discuss when and why a contempt action should be filed and when and why it should not be filed.  There will also be a discussion of the basics of filing a contempt motion.  This session does not cover a discussion of defending a contempt motion.  This will be covered in a follow up session to be announced.

    Tracy Duell-Cazes
    Tracy Duell-Cazes is a sole practitioner in San Jose, California.  She is a Certified Family Law Specialist by the State Bar of California Board of Legal Specialization.  She practices in all areas of Family Law.  She has previously lectured for the Santa Clara County Bar Association, The San Mateo County Bar Association Family Law Section, The San Francisco County Bar Association Family Law Section and the National Business Institute.  She serves as a Judge Pro Tempore in Santa Clara County.  She is a member of the California State Bar Association, California Lawyer’s Association Family Law Section, Santa Clara County Bar Association (SCCBA) Family Law Section, Association of Certified Family Law Specialists (ACFLS), and is on the Board of Directors for the Association of Certified Family Law Specialists Charitable Foundation.

    Tracy earned her bachelor's degree in Accounting at the California State University at Chico and her Juris Doctor at Santa Clara University School of Law.
     
    Tracy has also been named as a Northern California “Super Lawyer” by Super Lawyers every year since 2009.
