California Governor Gavin Newsom signed SB 91 on January 29, 2021, which provides rental assistance payments and extended eviction protections for tenants who have been financially impacted by COVID-19, among other things. This program will take a deep dive into SB 91 to discuss mandatory noticing requirements for landlords, the new state rental assistance program, and the extension of the statewide eviction moratorium.
