Litigators have a variety of tools for recovering assets from elder abusers.But, often times, the elder’s assets are consumed by the abuser before help is received and a large judgment against the abuser may be uncollectible. Estate planners have a unique opportunity to prevent the abuse before it happens. The speakers will explore questioning techniques used in the intake process to uncover and anticipate potential undue influence and drafting strategies to curtail financial elder abuse before it happens.
