This webinar will touch on the following:
    1. Understand what ChatGPT and other generative AI tools are and how they work, in general, including ethical risks and benefits posed by using ordinary generative AI tools as an attorney.
    2.  Consider when California ethics rules require attorneys to notify a client about delegation of legal tasks to generative AI and whether ethics rules compel other steps to be taken to safeguard client information when using generative AI.
    3. Understand how managerial and supervisory attorneys owe heightened ethical duties to provide trainings and other ongoing interventions with subordinate lawyers and nonlawyer assistants who may already be using generative AI, in order to ensure their compliance with ethics rules.
