The Future of Student Loan Forgiveness and Dischargeability: A Conversation with Dean Erwin Chemerinsky
Join the CLA for a discussion with Dean Erwin Chemerinsky of the U.S. Supreme Court's recent decision in Biden v Nebraska, and the implications for student loan forgiveness and the use of executive power to craft solutions to the massive student loan indebtedness facing many borrowers. Assistant U.S. Attorney Glen Dorgan will offer the perspective of the U.S. Department of Justice on recent guidelines issued concerning the dischargeability in bankruptcy of publicly held student loan debt. The discussion will be moderated by U.S. Department of Justice attorney Kristin Mihelic.
