Attorneys may be quick to say that they are not biased, but the truth is that there is bias everywhere. In us, in our clients and potential clients, in our opposing counsel and in our courtrooms. Our job must be to work to identify potential biases and make sure that we understand our actions to keep the justice system as fair and impartial as possible.
