Introduction to the Unique World of Restaurant Leasing; 2023 Real Property Law Retreat
Restaurants present unique challenges to the leasing lawyer which require lawyers to understand several fundamental aspects of the restaurant industry. This presentation will cover several of these features including: nuisance/odor, special building systems (including power requirements and grease traps), parking, outside eating areas and liquor licenses. We will also discuss the ways in which Covid is being addressed in restaurant leases.
