The New Healthcare Model – Telemedicine, Health Tracking Apps, and Online Patient Privacy
The speakers in this presentation will discuss the new federal data-sharing requirements that will enable patients to use consumer apps to retrieve their medical information directly from their doctors. They will review the interaction of these new requirements with HIPAA and California data privacy laws such as the CCPA and CMIA. The presentation also will address patient privacy concerns related to telemedicine, electronic medical records, and health tracking apps.
