    This webinar will describe the use of criminal background checks by California employers in compliance with the Fair Chance Act. Our speakers will explore when and what type of criminal background information may be sought and considered in the hiring process. They will also discuss the fair chance process, including how employers can evaluate criminal history and the notices that must be provided to applicants. The webinar will also cover the Civil Rights Department’s complaint process and potential remedies for violations of the Act.
