The Future is the Metaverse, but Privacy Risks are Now!; Inaugural Annual Privacy Summit
Focus on the “metaverse” and the development of immersive tech will only increase in 2023, with the planned introduction of Apple’s long-awaited AR and VR products, developments at Meta, and continued expansion of platforms like Roblox that are already bringing users into virtual spaces. As these technologies proliferate, regulatory scrutiny will undoubtedly increase and privacy issues are expected to be front and center. Our privacy experts have been swimming in the metaverse and virtual reality waters for some time and will walk us through the top privacy issues and regulatory concerns in this area and how they are being addressed.
