Data Protection and Privacy in Latin America

This webinar will introduce the audience to the developments of the right to privacy and data protection laws in Latin America and current trends in the region. It will start with a brief history of how the first laws were introduced, how they have been developed and applied in practice in different countries and will conclude with the current influence of GDPR and European data protection ideas in Latin America.
