In service to the workers’ compensation community during these extraordinary and challenging times, the CLA Workers’ Compensation Section is offering a free webinar with 1 hour of MCLE/specialization credit regarding COVID-19 workers’ compensation issues.
This webinar will address some of the most pressing issues raised by the COVID-19 outbreak and its impact on workers’ compensation in the state of California. Topics will include: how compensability is addressed for allegations of industrially caused infectious diseases, temporary disability issues implicated by statewide shelter in place orders that impact workers on modified duties, WCAB emergency rules, and more. We hope from this presentation attendees will gain valuable insights into these pressing issues and to know that their section is here to assist them in these challenging times.
