    This program will review privacy and cybersecurity legal developments in 2024 and look ahead to 2025. This program is geared toward non-privacy/cyber law attorneys, including IP and other attorneys. 
     
    The following topics will be discussed: developments in general state privacy laws, including CCPA; the prospect of a federal general privacy law; FTC privacy and security actions; state breach notification laws; and federal cybersecurity laws and rules.  After this webinar, attendees should have a good understanding of new developments in state and federal privacy and cybersecurity laws and be able to apply this knowledge to identify privacy/security issues and potential solutions in technology and commercial transactions and other matters. 


    The key audience for this webinar would be as  follows: IP law attorneys, business/commercial, and other attorneys looking to learn more about privacy/cyber issues in or adjacent to their practice.
