Our humanity may be our greatest asset as a lawyer.  It can almost be seen as our superpower.  How can we use our humanity to grow our legal career, bring about wellness and diversity and reduce bias?

Everyone has biases. It’s natural. While me might recognize some of our own explicit biases, the unconscious nature of our biases makes them easier to ignore. Unfortunately, ignoring our biases impacts not only our practice success, but our entire life and reputation.  It also makes it very hard to create and thrive in a diverse legal practice.

When we are able to take our humanity to recognize our own biases using our brand, and those of others, we can be in control of changing systematic biases within our workplace and society, allowing for a practice that grows with ease and flow and leaves us as happy and healthy lawyers.

This program will support you to learn:

    -  The greater picture in how your humanity plays into your practice and how to use it wisely

    -    How your brand plays a part in creating diversity, removing biases and having ultimate wellness

    -    How to identify and address biases of any kind among yourself, your staff, colleagues, clients, and vendors regardless of the size of your firm/practice

    -    Actionable, concrete strategies and tips to address and minimize these biases

    -    How to turn these biases into a diversity model that will help you grow your practice and firm into a renowned leader in equalizing society.
