The Ethics of Working with Cannabis Clients – High Times, or Buzz Kill?
While recreational and medical use of marijuana is now legal in California, marijuana remains a Schedule 1 restricted drug under the Federal Controlled Substances Act, which prohibits the production, distribution, sale, use and possession of marijuana. This presentation explores the ethical implications to attorneys working with cannabis clients given the conflict between California and Federal law.
