The forensic interview of a child is a critical element of a child custody evaluation. Evaluators can also be appointed to interview a child and relay the child’s statements during testimony at a hearing or trial. This one hour webinar will explore the following questions: What factors should be considered regarding interview process? What types of questions can result in the child providing inaccurate information? What biases can impact the analysis of the child’s statements, and what type of errors in assessment may occur? What questions should be contemplated with respect to how the interview and analysis are presented?
