2020 Environmental Law Conference at Yosemite: Shifting Winds: Managing Big Business in a Changing Environmental Landscape
Companies across America are responding to changing environmental conditions and a changing regulatory landscape. While profitability and sustainability are bedrock corporate principles, the threat of climate change, the global pandemic, and the Trump administration have brought forth a new era of corporate responsiveness to environmental issues. This panel will delve into the response of three marquee American businesses that are faced with unique challenges, and will provide a view into how company leadership and philosophy has responded to a landscape that is continually shifting below its feet. This conversation will also provide an opportunity for corporate environmental leaders to highlight their company’s work on sustainability while also discussing how changes in environmental regulation and law affect the bottom line.
