Staying Off The State Bar Radar and What To Do If You Get A State Bar Letter
Join former senior State Bar trial counsel and current State Bar defense attorney Ashod Mooradian in a unique, informative and perennially necessary presentation about the State Bar discipline system. You will learn about the mission and structure of the State Bar discipline system, the intake process for complaints against attorneys, how and why the State Bar’s prosecution division, the Office of Chief Trial Counsel, will choose to investigate a complaint, how to best respond to complaints and what happens if your complaint moves forward and is publicly filed as a Notice of Disciplinary Charges in the State Bar Court of California. Finally, and most importantly, you will learn practical and effective strategies to help you avoid not only becoming publicly disciplined, but from even getting a client complaint or disciplinary investigation in the first place!
