Join us for a comprehensive program describing EAROs including relevant case and statutory law. Topics will include standing, burden of proof, evidence, the scope of orders that can be issued, and attorney fees. The program will discuss the interplay of domestic violence restraining orders, emergency protective orders, and civil restraining orders with EAROs. The program will include case examples and their application with attention to the protective nature of the proceeding for the health and safety of the elder.
