This webinar will examine the nascent field of IP cannabis law in various Latin American jurisdictions. As Latin American countries experience a surge in cannabis legalization, companies are rushing to capitalize on a promising new market. Consequently, IP rights are becoming increasingly more prevalent as companies build or expand their business around cannabis.

The webinar will also identify the relevant statutory frameworks for practitioners interested in cross-border collaboration with Latin American jurisdictions. Further, the webinar will examine the role that trademarks and copyrights play in protecting IP rights relating to cannabis.
