This webinar will address key risks of using open source in product development, and will provide practical pointers for mitigating those risks. Among other things, the presentation will address patent infringement liability and security risks, including: (1) an understanding of open source software, patents, and mitigating patent litigation risks; and (2) an understanding of the security risks from use of open source components, privacy rights, and challenges of managing security risks.
