Join us for an insightful webinar on the issues that surface in bankruptcy cases relating to intellectual property. Topics that will be discussed include but are not limited to, verifying the status of the IP; who is the owner; how much are the maintenance fees and when are they due; is the IP encumbered; how do you encumber IP; how do you value and transfer/ sell the IP; and as the holder of IP what are your rights and remedies when a debtor files bankruptcy. By the end of the program, you will have an understanding of the relationship between IP and bankruptcy and be able to identify issues that affect either the debtor/ trustee and the owner of the IP.
