Supreme Court Addresses Government’s Right to Address Homeless Crisis: the Grants Pass Case Assessed by Erwin Chemerinsky
UC Berkeley Law Dean Erwin Chemerinsky will assess existing law on the government’s ability to regulate homelessness, including moving the homeless and citing them for public-use violations. The program will address the Supreme Court’s oral argument with assessments of the Justice’s positions and likely outcomes, along with potential ramifications to government and to the homeless.
