Most law firms have been late to recognize the crucial importance of lawyer and employee wellbeing.  A few programs here and there, and a growing recognition of the enormous rise of mental and behavioral health issues for lawyers.  This webinar will explain why most workplace wellness efforts to date have failed, particularly for law firms, and what law firms must do to maximize the wellbeing of their lawyers and support staff.  It will explore the difference between “wellness” and “wellbeing’ and its cultural implications.  Without a strongly supportive culture of wellbeing, no program, no matter how good, will succeed.  Law firm cultures are unique, and far too many are toxic.  This webinar will explain how firms can build supportive cultures of wellbeing, why that is so important for lawyer/employee success, and how increased lawyer and employee wellbeing will drive a firm’s success.
