Business Law Section
Credit(s):
1 Participatory MCLE Credits
1 Recognition and Elimination of Bias
This will be a co-presentation by psychologist Angela Moskovis, Ph.D. and David Leatherberry who is counsel for the San Diego Psychological Association and who represents psychologists throughout the state. This presentation will focus on subtle ways in which we all manifest bias, looking at examples ranging from the humorous to the heartbreaking. Dr. Moskovis will lead a discussion of the psychological underpinnings of harmful bias, with the objective being that the more we recognize subtle manifestations of bias, and recognize how those manifestations in ourselves may be influenced by our own self-care, the more we are able to positively influence and redirect bias in social interactions.
