Complex regional pain syndrome can be a significantly disabling injury. However, many practitioners and doctors may struggle with correctly diagnosing and/or rating CRPS injuries. As seen in the recent Hikida decision, there are significant questions of apportionment and causation depending on how the CRPS develops. In this panel, board certified anesthesiology and pain management physician, Dr. Lynn Cintron, joins expert litigator Glenn Olsen to dissect the do’s and don’ts of diagnosing, rating, and apportioning CRPS injuries.
