2020 Annual Meeting: Show Me the Money: Ethical Issues in Charging and Collecting Attorney Fees
Practicing law is a business for most of us. This intermediate level program will focus on ethical and related requirements that pertain to charging and collecting attorney fees (whether hourly or contingent., including fee agreements, fee sharing, unconscionability and handling fee disputes with clients. The panel will review the applicable rules and help attorneys identify and resolve ethical issues that may arise. Special issues pertaining to clients who declare bankruptsy will also be discussed.
