Whether on the prosecution or the defense or simply counseling clients on compliance, interpreting data is a key skill for just about every environmental lawyer. In many cases, we are obligated to delve beyond the nicely tabulated data and pore over supporting lab reports, and the methods and notes included therein. This panel will provide a practical approach to avoiding pitfalls associated with incorrect interpretations of environmental data. The panel will also feature a special focus on understanding data and methods used in matters involving per- and polyfluoroalkyl substances (PFAS), vapor intrusion, and health risk assessments.
