The webinar will address significant decisions and how they are currently being interpreted by the WCAB, including Hikida, Fitzpatrick, Benson, Herrera and Lindh.

We will look at criteria that is required to perform an Almaraz/Guzman analysis, and whether a failure to satisfy those criteria can be overcome. Various Almaraz/Guzman techniques will be examined, including criteria required for adding versus combining impairment ratings, and rating by analogy.

Pain criteria will be discussed, including rating pain using Almaraz/Guzman.

Whether attorney, physician, claims examiner or lay person you can gain an increased understanding of the Guides.  Since knowledge is power, the more you understand about the Guides the better you can use them for your benefit.
