AB 5 & The Unintended Employee: The Future of Worker Categorization, Risks and Litigation Exposure
This program will focus on the changes to worker categorization prompted by the adoption of AB 5 this fall that followed the decision of Dynamex Operations West, Inc. v. Superior Court of Los Angeles. In addition, the program will provide an overview of the risks if employers misclassify workers and predictions for how AB 5 will impact the gig economy in California.
